See All ReviewsBest flavored food I’ve had in the area. I tried the mackerel, cold noodle soup, and squid. The mackerel tasted like home, my Papa was a net fisherman for Akule in Hawaii. It was nice to feel like I’m eating the quality of food in Hawaii. The prices are higher than OMart, but the food is definitely worth it. It’s nice to see a restaurant care about quality, when most places in the area just throw food out with a higher price range. The employee helped me bring the food to my car and was very kind.
I hope the owner saw this review. This review is the intention of improving the service. Me and my family went there a couple weeks ago, the older lady quickly gave is a seat( nice job), but after almost 1 hr of placing an order, the meal never come, my husband wave his hand but that lady ignored, he called the other waitress(she is more look like Hispanic), my husband asked her if our meal is started prepared if not we will leave but if they already start we will stayed, she went and check with the kitchen but they haven’t started yet than we leave! Seat there for almost 2 hr with my 2 kids only with the drinks. This is a great location, menu is great! I hope they have more younger waitress or waiter and a better customers service. Right before we left, the 2 young ladies left without a meal as well. Me and my husband still talking about them and how good is this place with a better service, We had own a restaurant before, it’s not easy but the service and atmosphere are very important.
We had went for Mother’s Day. They were out of most of the meat and still charged full price per person. Because they were busy and ran out of food, we could tell they were only bringing out bare minimums when it came to the side dishes. We asked for kimchi twice and after that I gave up. My 6 year old had rice with soy sauce and me and hubby left hungry after a $100 meal. My review is late since I’m now going through pics in my gallery, it reminded me of what a disappointment it was.
